Absolutely outstanding work by Futures, such a good band to design to, looking forward to seeing them at Banquet’s Big Day Out this summer.

Just One More?

I took this photo awhile back, thought it would make a pretty cool back drop for some simplistic type, ‘just one more?’.

Music As Inspiration

Recently more so than normal I have found myself turning to music for my inspiration on various projects for both university and clients. Music offers something that nothing else can. I decided to produce a range of posters that include images taken by myself at various gigs.

Music is what keeps me inspired…

Fresh Business Cards

With the creation of my new website www.christopheralgar.com, I decided to update my business cards, the design follows in suit with the website and offers a professional feel. Printed on 600gsm Mohawk paper stock.

Summer Plans

My second year at University is coming to a close and am now producing the final touches to my work, these projects will be uploaded to my website soon once the deadline has been and gone. The projects have been really interesting and have enjoyed learning about info-graphics and data visualisation which was the main focus on one of the modules. But still I am particularly looking forward to the summer break.

I have a few things lined up which I really can’t wait for, on the design side of things I have a couple of internships, one of which is with Wallpaper* Magazine (if you haven’t ever bought one you need to), a second with Loaded Magazine and still currently organising another couple, so real exciting stuff. I get to spend my summer in Kingston which is a lovely part of the world and really inspiring but best of all I get to spend 2 months living with my girlfriend which after spending most of the year 200 miles from each other at University is a real treat.

I have just updated my website with various projects as well as a bit of a facelift, would love if you could give it a look over. Visit it at www.christopheralgar.com
